Dapper man7/4/2023 Either way, it’s an exceptionally clean fragrance that isn’t overpowering. I definitely pick up the juniper and musk notes, but don’t detect any spicy quality unless it’s supposed to be an Old Spice type of spiciness. Scent: 10/10. Advertised as a spicy juniper musk scent. That one small aspect keeps it from scoring the perfect 10. However, because it is a rather small label on a 2oz jar, it can be hard to make out all of the details and information without looking at the jar more closely than with other products. Packaging and Presentation: 8/10. This pomade’s label is obviously an homage to the Dapper Dan Pomade featured in the movie “O’ Brother Where art Thou?” That movie is one of my top-5 favorite flicks of all time, so of course, I am a bit biased in favor of this label. I’m excited to introduce the Bru Pomade line to you guys. I will mention some of my opinions on it as a beard balm in addition to its effectiveness as a pomade, but this review will primarily focus on its performance as a hairstyling product. It’s a home-brewed, all-natural oil-based that advertises a classic shine, a spicy juniper musk scent, and it can also be used as a beard balm. So, here it is, Dapper Man by Bru Pomade. I want to do right by my commitment to review his product and finally share my thoughts with you guys. Thankfully, Garrett is an awesome guy and has been patient on a saintly level with me. When I came back to Spruce & Sharp, I was on a clay kick and never got to take a look at this product. However, since I took a brief hiatus around that time, I never got to review it. ![]() Garrett over at Bru Pomade sent me a jar of his newest formula, Dapper Man, earlier this year. I’ll admit, sometimes I’m not always as timely as I would like to be, but it’s better late than never in some circumstances.
